Seat belts

GENERAL INFORMATION

Seat belts are an effective remedy of protection of the driver and passengers from serious consequences of a road accident.

Seat belts are established on each seat of the car.
1–Seat belt uvula;
2–Seat belt lock;

3–Button of opening of the lock;
4–The button of the involving mechanism


Pristegivaniye seat belts

To be fastened by belts, insert a uvula into the lock before click, without allowing thus a seat belt perekruchivaniye.

Do not fasten a seat belt of the child sitting on a lap of the passenger.

For an otstegivaniye of a seat belt press the button 3 opening the lock.

At a pristegivaniye of a seat belt of forward sitting arrange a belt so that its top part passed through the shoulder middle.
For adjustment of provision of a seat belt use the button 4 of the involving device.


Prevention

For no-failure operation of the mechanism of a tension observe purity of seat belts. At damage of buckles or the mechanism of a tension replace belts.

Belts which underwent strong stretching at failure, it is necessary to replace.

At influence of sunshine and chemicals the tape of a belt loses durability. At loss of initial coloring (fading) it is necessary to replace a belt.

Wash out belts only in weak soap solution. Before retraction of belts carefully them dry.

It is forbidden to process a belt band chemical compositions, to tint them or to decolour. Structures will weaken a belt. A belt decoloured or weakened by chemical compositions, it is necessary to replace.


Mechanism of a tension of a seat belt of forward sitting

The mechanism of a tension of a seat belt of forward sitting is intended for instant elimination of sagging of a seat belt in case of a sudden head-on collision. The tension mechanism automatically works at a head-on collision above a certain force. Collisions of smaller force, including side-winders and behind, will not lead to operation of the mechanism of a tension of a belt.
