12.8. Fuel pump of a high pressure

Removal


Prevention

For fixing of a shaft of the fuel pump in adjusting situation use of the special tool is necessary. Use of the tool made independently, can damage internal details of the fuel pump.

At installation of the piston of the first cylinder in situation 15 ° after VMT combine the corresponding label on a pulley with the index.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove clamps and the adjusting panel from the lower part of a motor compartment.
3. Remove the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.
4. Remove the fan of a radiator and a casing.
5. Remove from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders the vacuum pump. Remove laying from the vacuum pump.
6. Remove an inlet collector.
7. On models with 6-cylinder engines with a control system of speed of movement of the car unscrew the executive mechanism and move it aside.
8. Fix from a provorachivaniye a cranked shaft of the engine, then unscrew the central bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump (see fig. A bolt arrangement with the left carving of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump).
Prevention

The bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump has the left carving.


9. For a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft turn a cranked shaft of the engine in the working direction while the piston of the first cylinder will not be established in situation 15 ° after the top dead point. Installation make, combining the corresponding label on a pulley of a cranked shaft with the index (see fig. Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in situation 15 °).
10. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain (see fig. Arrangement of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).
11. Using the corresponding wrench, unscrew from the fuel pump топливопроводы, going to fuel nozzles (see fig. Unscrewing топливопроводов from the fuel pump).
12. Unscrew connecting bolts and disconnect from the fuel pump submitting and returnable fuel hoses.
13. Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses from executive mechanisms from the top and back part of the fuel pump.
14. Mark and disconnect electric sockets from executive mechanisms and sensors on the top and back part of the fuel pump.
15. Disconnect draft of an accelerator from a control lever the fuel pump.
16. Using a chertilka, note position of the fuel pump of rather back surface of a fixing flange.
17. After removal of the fuel pump fix a chain on an asterisk of the fuel pump in a cover of a driving chain so that the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye could be turned. On later models for fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump the special casing is used.
18. On early models without special a casing prepare the metal tubular opravka which diameter is equal to diameter of a head of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump.
19. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a forward part of the fuel pump of a high pressure to a fixing flange (see fig. An arrangement of bolts of fastening of a forward part of the fuel pump to a fixing flange). Unscrew a bolt, fixing a back part of the fuel pump of a high pressure to an arm, and remove the fuel pump. Thus, using a tubular opravka or a special casing, support an asterisk of the fuel pump on a place.
Prevention

At removal of the fuel pump of a high pressure, probably, effluence of insignificant amount of engine oil.

Do not allow removal of a driving chain from an asterisk of the fuel pump.


20. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the fuel thermostat to the case of the fuel pump and, without disconnecting from the thermostat pipelines, move it aside (see fig. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of the fuel thermostat).
21. Close everything disconnected топливопроводы jams.
22. Sideways the fuel pump unscrew a stopper closing an adjusting opening (see fig. An arrangement of the stopper closing an adjusting opening of the fuel pump of a high pressure).
23. Using special captures, turn a shaft of the fuel pump in the direction of labor movement while through an adjusting opening will not see the regulator case. Tighten a shaft of the fuel pump before ledge combination on the regulator case with the center of an adjusting opening. Using the special tool, through an adjusting opening fix the regulator case from a provorachivaniye (see fig. Use of the special tool for fixing of the case of a regulator from a provorachivaniye).
Prevention

At a provorachivaniye of a shaft of the fuel pump of a high pressure be careful not to damage a surface of a shaft of the fuel pump.


24. In a forward part of the fuel pump remove a sealing ring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal taking into account the next moments.
2. On a forward part of the fuel pump of a high pressure establish a new sealing ring and grease it with a thin layer of engine oil.
3. Before installation of the fuel pump of a high pressure check that the piston of the first cylinder is established in situation 15 ° after the top dead point.
4. Fix a cranked shaft of the engine from a provorachivaniye and after that tighten a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump the demanded moment.
Prevention

The bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump has the left carving.


5. Take the special blocking tool from an opening in the fuel pump and close an opening a stopper.
6. Tighten bolts of fastening of the fuel pump of a high pressure the demanded moment.
7. Connect pipelines of a high pressure to the fuel pump and fix connecting nuts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
8. When fastening submitting and returnable топливопроводов connecting bolts it is necessary to use new sealing rings.
9. At installation of the vacuum pump it is necessary to use a new sealing ring. Check and, if necessary, adjust the moment of injection of the fuel pump.
