SYSTEM OF IGNITION OF EZL
Removal
Removal of a plastic casing from the ignition coil
Places of connection of wires to the ignition coil
|
A–place of connection of the central high-voltage wire;
B–a place of connection of wires to primary winding of the coil of ignition |
Arrangement of coils of ignition on models with a control system of the HFM engine
|
A–ignition coils;
B–protective casing |
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
2. On all models the coil of ignition is established on an arm in the left forward part of a motor compartment. Release clamps and remove a plastic casing from the top part of the coil of ignition (see fig. Removal of a plastic casing from the ignition coil). |
3. Disconnect the central high-voltage wire from the central contact of the coil of ignition (see fig. Places of connection of wires to the ignition coil). |
4. Unscrew nuts and disconnect positive and negative wires from plugs of primary winding of the coil of ignition. Before removal mark wires. |
5. Unscrew bolts and remove the ignition coil. |
|
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. |

MODELS WITH THE CONTROL SYSTEM OF THE HFM ENGINE
Removal
Arrangement of coils of ignition and their connection with cylinders which serve them
|
A–cylinders No. 2 and 5;
B–cylinders No. 3 and 4;
C–cylinders No. 1 and 6;
D–to the ECU block from cylinders 1-6 |
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Three coils of ignition are established on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders under a casing. In drawing Arrangements of coils of ignition and their connection with cylinders which serve them are shown an arrangement of coils of ignition and cylinders which they serve. |
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
3. Unscrew screws and uncover, closing ignition coils. Disconnect high-voltage wires and wires of primary windings from ignition coils. |
4. Unscrew screws and lift the ignition coil from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, at the same time disconnecting a high-voltage wire from a spark plug. |
