System of ignition of EZL

The system of ignition of EZL works at the basis of the signal received from the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft. The system of ignition establishes a demanded corner of an advancing of ignition on the basis of information on engine turns, the provision of a cranked shaft and depression in the inlet collector, received from the sensors established on the engine.

Distinctive feature of system of ignition of EZL is that it is impossible to adjust the initial moment of an advancing of ignition by turn of the case of the distributor concerning a shaft.

However the initial corner of an advancing of ignition can be changed depending on type of used fuel. For this purpose it is necessary to change the provision of a switching cap in a nest of the fine tuning, located in a motor compartment near the ECU block. In a switching cap resistors of various resistance are established. The cap can be established in some provisions according to labels on a cap. Depending on what resistor of a cap is connected at present to nest contacts, the ECU block of system of ignition increases or reduces an initial corner of an advancing of ignition with a step in 3 °.

It is possible to measure a corner of an advancing of ignition also, using a stroboscope.


Prevention

Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition is necessary for making on the engine, heated-up to normal working temperature. It is desirable to finish check of a corner of an advancing of ignition before the temperature of cooling liquid will exceed 95 ° With or before the radiator fan will turn on.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect a stroboscope according to its maintenance instruction. Thus start of a stroboscope should be made from a high-voltage wire of the 1st cylinder.
2. Start the engine on idling turns. Direct stroboscope light on the index on a cover of a driving chain. The label on a pulley of a cranked shaft seems motionless and should be combined with the index. If the label moves to one or other party, means, turns of idling are unstable. At check of a corner of an advancing of ignition all electric consumers should be switched off and the fan of a radiator should not work. At operation of the engine idling for some time even at the engine, heated-up to normal working temperature especially at high temperature of external air turns of idling can be unstable.
3. Determine a corner of an advancing of ignition by a label on a pulley of the cranked shaft, combined with the index.
4. If the corner of an advancing of ignition differs more than on 3 ° from demanded, probably, the cap in a nest of fine tuning is incorrectly established. Check the provision of a cap in a nest of fine tuning and, if necessary, establish it according to type of applied fuel.
