18.6.2. Dismantling and assembly

GENERAL INFORMATION

Place of fastening of a dustproof cover of a pusher to the case of the main cylinder of coupling

Removal of a lock ring from the main cylinder of coupling

Removal of a washer from the main cylinder of coupling

Pusher and piston extraction from the case of the main cylinder of coupling

Spring extraction from the case of the main cylinder of coupling

Removal of a cap and the control valve from a piston end face

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a dustproof cover of a pusher from the case of the main cylinder of coupling (see fig. A place of fastening of a dustproof cover of a pusher to the case of the main cylinder of coupling).
2. Using special flat-nose pliers, remove a lock ring and take a washer (see fig. Removal of a lock ring from the main cylinder of coupling, Removal of a washer from the main cylinder of coupling).
3. Take a pusher and the piston together with a spring from the channel of the main cylinder of coupling (see fig. Pusher and piston extraction from the case of the main cylinder of coupling, spring Extraction from the case of the main cylinder of coupling).
4. Remove from a piston end face a cap and the control valve (see fig. Removal of a cap and the control valve from a piston end face).
5. Wash out all details of the main cylinder of coupling in pure brake liquid and check their condition.
6. Check a condition of the channel of the main cylinder of coupling and the piston on wear and development existence. If the channel of the main cylinder of coupling has development or deep scratches, replace assembled the main cylinder of coupling. If details of the main cylinder of coupling in a satisfactory condition replace rubber sealing rings.
7. Being careful, remove from the piston an old sealing ring. Dip a new sealing ring into pure brake liquid and, being careful, establish on the piston so that working edges of a new sealing ring were from a piston spring.
8. Grease the channel of the main cylinder of coupling and the piston with pure brake liquid and insert a spring into the cylinder.
9. Establish the control valve and a cap on the piston and, being careful, insert the piston into the canal of the main cylinder of coupling.
10. Slightly press a pusher into the main cylinder of coupling, establish a washer and a lock ring in a flute of the channel of the main cylinder of coupling.
11. Establish a dustproof cover of a pusher on a place and fix it on the case of the main cylinder of coupling.
