1.4.3. 6-cylinder DOHC engines

GENERAL INFORMATION

Cover removal with a filtering element from a casing of the oil filter on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine

Unscrewing of a masloslivny stopper on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine

Installation of a new sealing ring on a cover of the oil filter of the 6-cylinder DOHC engine

Installation of a new filtering element in a cover of a casing of the oil filter of the 6-cylinder DOHC engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew a cover from a casing of the oil filter.
2. Wait, while oil will flow down from a casing of the oil filter, then uncover together with a filtering element (see fig. Cover removal with a filtering element from a casing of the oil filter on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine).
3. Take filtering element from a cover and remove a sealing ring of round section.
4. Weaken a drain stopper approximately on a turn half. Place the container for oil plum under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If it is necessary, press a stopper when unscrew that oil did not proceed prematurely. Remove ring consolidation from a masloslivny stopper.
5. When oil completely will flow down, wipe everything round a drain opening a rag and reliably screw up a stopper into place.
6. Establish the car on an equal horizontal surface.
7. Wipe all traces of oil and dirt from a cover of the oil filter and establish on a cover a new sealing ring of round section (see fig. Installation of a new sealing ring on a cover of the oil filter of the 6-cylinder DOHC engine).
8. Establish a new filtering element in a cover of a casing of the oil filter (see fig. Installation of a new filtering element in a cover of a casing of the oil filter of the 6-cylinder DOHC engine).
9. Establish a cover with a filtering element on a casing of the oil filter and reliably tighten a cover.
10. Take щуп for measurement of level of oil and remove a stopper from a maslozalivny mouth.
11. Fill in oil in the engine, using the corresponding grade of oil. Fill in a half of necessary amount of oil and wait some minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Then continue to pour oil in the small portions while level of oil will not reach a minimum level on щупе. At addition about 1 more liter level of oil will rise to maximum on щупе. Close a cover of a jellied mouth.
12. Start the engine and let's to it work some minutes. Check it about leakages of oil round the filter and a drain stopper on the pallet. Keep in mind that the control bulb of pressure of oil can burn some seconds as oil should fill all channels and oil capacities in the engine.
13. Switch off the engine and wait some minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Check level of oil and add, if it is necessary.
