Sequence of installation of an auxiliary driving belt on pulleys:
1–pulley of the mechanism of a tension;
2–pulley of a cranked shaft;
3–pulley of the compressor of central air of air;
4–single pulley;
5–pulley of the fan of a radiator;
6–pulley of the air fuel pump;
7–generator pulley;
8–single pulley;
9–pulley of the pump of the amplifier of a steering;
10-pulley of the water pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a krylchatka of the fan of a radiator and a casing.
2. Weaken on a turn quarter a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of a tension (see fig. An arrangement of a plastic casing, Weakening of a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine with the index of a regulator of a tension).
3. Unscrew counter-clockwise a nut of a regulator and unscrew a regulator so that the belt was completely weakened. Remove a belt from pulleys (see fig. Unscrewing of a nut of a regulator of an auxiliary driving belt on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine).
4. Establish a new auxiliary driving belt on pulleys, since a single pulley and in the sequence shown in drawing the Arrangement of an auxiliary driving belt on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine.
5. Adjust a tension of an auxiliary driving belt as follows.
6. Move the index of the mechanism of a tension before combination of a tip of the index with the right narrowest end of a triangle on a large-scale ruler.
7. Turn a regulator nut clockwise while the tip of the index of the mechanism of a tension will not be combined with the thick line on a large-scale ruler (see fig. The mechanism of adjustment of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt on the 6-cylinder SOHC engine).
8. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of a tension the demanded moment.
9. Establish a krylchatka of the fan of a radiator and a casing.

Models with an automatic regulator

Reduction of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt
 
For reduction of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt on 6-cylinder DOHC engines establish a wrench on a nut of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension (1) and turn a wrench clockwise.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a krylchatka of the fan of a radiator and a casing.
2. Establish a wrench in the center of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and for a wrench turn the tension mechanism clockwise therefore the tension of an auxiliary driving belt (see fig. will decrease. Reduction of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt).
3. Fix the tension mechanism in this situation by a wrench and remove an auxiliary driving belt from pulleys.
4. Establish a new auxiliary driving belt on pulleys, since a single pulley and further in the sequence shown in drawing the Arrangement of an auxiliary driving belt on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine.
5. Release a wrench holding the mechanism of a tension therefore the mechanism of a tension will turn and there will be a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.
6. Establish a krylchatka of the fan and a casing.
