1. Remove a power shaft. |
2. Clear a power shaft and fix it in a vice with soft sponges. |
3. Remove a protective cover from an end face of the internal CV JOINT (see fig. Removal of a protective cover from an end face of the internal CV JOINT). |
4. Remove two collars of fastening of a protective cover of the internal CV JOINT and shift a protective cover on a power shaft (see fig. Removal of collars of fastening of a protective cover of the CV JOINT). |
5. Clean greasing and remove a lock ring of fastening of the internal CV JOINT from an end face of a power shaft (see fig. Removal of the lock ring, fixing the internal CV JOINT to a power shaft). |
6. Holding the internal CV JOINT and using a hammer and a drift, beat out a power shaft from the hinge. If the CV JOINT sits on a shaft very densely, probably, stripper application is required. Do not assort the internal CV JOINT. |
7. Remove a protective cover, having shifted it on a power shaft. |
8. Remove collars of fastening of a protective cover of the external CV JOINT and remove it, having shifted on a shaft. |
9. Using the corresponding solvent, clear CV JOINTS and wipe them dry. |
10. Consistently turn a hinge nave so that spheres in turn appeared in the top point. Check spheres on lack of cracks, deformation or dot corrosion. |
11. Check a condition of racetracks of spheres. If racetracks are broken, moving of spheres on them will be non-uniform. Check openings in a separator on lack of wear and cracks. If necessary replace protective covers of CV JOINTS. Before installation of covers clear interfaced surfaces of the CV JOINT and a cover and put on a cover a thin layer of greasing. |
12. If though one of details of the CV JOINT is worn-out, it is necessary to replace the CV JOINT assembled. Replacement of the internal CV JOINT can be made separately, and the external CV JOINT is replaced only assembled with a power shaft. At assembly it is necessary to use the new protective covers, new collars of fastening of the protective covers, a new lock ring of the internal hinge of a power shaft and lubricant. |
13. Roll up a sticky tape of a shlitsa on the end of a power shaft. |
14. Pull a new protective cover of the external hinge over a power shaft. |
15. Fill cavities of the external CV JOINT with demanded amount of lubricant. Moving hinges, evenly distribute lubricant. Fill with the same lubricant an internal cavity of a protective cover (see fig. Filling with greasing of the hinge of equal angular speeds). |
16. Establish a protective cover on the CV JOINT and check that ledges of a protective cover were correctly established on a power shaft and the CV JOINT case. Using a screw-driver edge, raise one edge of a protective cover to level pressure in a protective cover with atmospheric (see fig. Installation of a new protective cover on the CV JOINT, the Raising of one of edges of a protective cover for pressure alignment in a cover with atmospheric). |
17. Establish on a protective cover a big collar, tighten it and latch in this situation. Using special flat-nose pliers, finally tighten a collar of fastening of a protective cover of a power shaft. Similarly establish the second collar of fastening of a protective cover (see fig. Installation of a collar of fastening of a protective cover of the CV JOINT, Final tightening of a collar of fastening of a protective cover of the CV JOINT). |
18. Pull a new protective cover of the internal CV JOINT over a power shaft (see fig. Installation of a new protective cover of the internal CV JOINT on a power shaft). |
19. Remove the sticky tape, closing shlitsa of a power shaft. Establish on a power shaft the internal CV JOINT, press it and fix it a new lock ring (see fig. Installation of the internal CV JOINT on a power shaft). |
20. Fill internal cavities of the CV JOINT with lubricant, and also an internal part of a protective cover (see fig. Filling of internal cavities of the CV JOINT with lubricant). |
21. Establish a protective cover on the CV JOINT and check that ledges of a protective cover are correctly established on driving to a shaft and the CV JOINT case. Using a screw-driver edge, lift one edge of a protective cover to level pressure in a cover with the atmospheric. |
22. Establish on a protective cover a big collar, tighten it and latch in this situation. Using special flat-nose pliers, finally tighten a collar of fastening of a protective cover. Similarly establish the second collar of fastening of a protective cover. |
23. Clear interfaced surfaces of the CV JOINT and a protective cover and apply a thin film greasings on an internal end face of a protective cover (see fig. Drawing of a layer of greasing on an internal end face of a protective cover). |
24. Establish a protective cover on an end face of the internal hinge. Check smoothness of moving of hinges, then establish a power shaft. |
