Removal

Arrangement of a connecting nut of fastening of a vacuum hose to the vacuum amplifier of brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew a connecting nut and disconnect a vacuum hose from the vacuum amplifier of brakes (see drawing).
2. Disconnect the second end of a vacuum hose from an inlet collector or the vacuum pump and take a vacuum hose with the unilateral valve from a motor compartment.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of a vacuum hose and the unilateral valve on existence of wear and mechanical damages and, if necessary, replace.
2. Check the unilateral valve of the vacuum amplifier of brakes, blowing it in two directions. Air should pass through the valve only from the vacuum amplifier of brakes.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Arrange a vacuum hose with the valve in a motor compartment, then connect it to an inlet collector or the vacuum pump. Connect the second end of a hose to the vacuum amplifier of brakes and fix it a connecting nut, having tightened it the demanded moment.
2. Start the engine and check tightness of connections of a vacuum hose.
