22.21.2.6 Sensor of a back wheel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation of the sensor of a back wheel it is necessary to use a new bolt of fastening of the sensor and a new nut of the mechanism of reverse main gear, and also a new sealing ring of the sensor.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Unscrew nuts and remove a casing, fixing sensor electroconducting to the car bottom.
3. Establish a jack with wooden whetstone under a case of reverse main gear and raise a jack so that the weight of reverse main gear was perceived by a jack.
4. Unscrew two nuts and take two bolts, fixing a back part of the main transfer.
5. Unscrew a nut and take a bolt, fixing a forward part of the main transfer.
6. Being careful, omit reverse main gear so that the driveshaft only concerned a cross-section basic beam. Note an arrangement and remove washers and rubber pillows from forward fastening of reverse main gear. Check a condition of rubber pillows and, if necessary, replace them.
7. Unscrew a bolt and remove the sensor together with a sealing ring from a case of reverse main gear. Replace a sealing ring of the sensor.
8. Define a site of the electric socket of the sensor and uncover the electric socket. Turn a lock ring and disconnect the electric socket.
9. If it is necessary to remove both sensors at the same time, mark wires and electric sockets of sensors.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. According to earlier made marking connect electric sockets of the sensor and establish a cover.
2. Clear interfaced surfaces of the sensor and a case of reverse main gear and establish new sealing rings of sensors.
3. Establish sensors on a case of reverse main gear and fix bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
4. Check that rubber pillows and washers are correctly established on a forward part of reverse main gear and establish reverse main gear to a starting position.
5. Fix reverse main gear by bolts, having screwed on them new nuts and having tightened them the demanded moment.
6. Check correctness of an arrangement of electroconducting of sensors, then establish on electroconducting a casing and lower the car.
