22.5.2. Models with a motionless support and two pistons

GENERAL INFORMATION

Detachment of the electric socket of wear of brake shoes on models with a motionless support with two pistons

At existence on a brake shoe of an amortization emphasis (b) it is not required to put a greasing layer on a face surface of a basic plate.

At absence on a brake shoe of an amortization emphasis apply a thin film greasings on a face surface of a basic plate (arrow).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take from a support and disconnect the electric socket of the sensor of wear of a brake shoe. Note an arrangement of electroconducting of the sensor (see fig. A detachment of the electric socket of wear of brake shoes on models with a motionless support with two pistons).
2. Using a hammer and the corresponding drift, being careful, beat out pins of fastening of brake shoes and remove a spring which is drawing in brake shoes (see fig. Knocking-out of pins of fastening of brake shoes, Removal from a support of the spring which is drawing in brake shoes).
3. Take brake shoes from a support, thus note an arrangement of sensors of wear of brake shoes. At existence remove the laying established between brake shoes and pistons (see fig. Extraction from a support of brake shoes with laying).
4. Measure thickness of a frictional overlay of a brake shoe and, at its wear in any point till minimum admissible thickness, replace all four forward brake shoes. Also it is necessary to replace blocks, if though one of blocks is polluted by oil as there is no way of degreasing of brake shoes. If brake shoes are non-uniformly worn-out or polluted by oil, reveal and eliminate the reason of it before installation of new brake shoes. Check a condition of the sensor of wear of brake shoes and, if necessary, replace.
5. If brake shoes are repeatedly established, clear them from all directions. Clear of dirt of a flute of brake slips, being careful, clear an installation site of brake shoes in the holder of a support. At installation of new brake shoes also replace a spring which is drawing in brake shoes, pins and laying.
6. Clear a support and pistons of dirt and a dust. When cleaning do not inhale a dust as it contains asbestos, unhealthy. Check a condition пылезащит the ny covers established round each piston.
7. If new brake shoes are established, press pistons into a support a wooden core or the hammer handle. Thus watch, that pistons did not warp, and surfaces of pistons and protective covers were not damaged. At a vdviganiye of pistons brake liquid is forced out from brake cylinders in a popolnitelny tank therefore constantly watch liquid level in a tank, and if necessary pump out from a tank its small amount.
Prevention

For pumping out of brake liquid from a popolnitelny tank use a syringe.


8. If on a back part of brake shoes an amortization emphasis for support pistons is established, it is not necessary to put a greasing layer on basic plates of brake shoes. At absence on brake shoes of an amortization emphasis grease a face surface of a basic plate of a brake shoe with brake greasing 0019891051. Greasing put with a thin layer and exclude greasing hit on overlays of brake shoes (see fig. An amortization emphasis on a brake shoe).
9. Check that sensors of wear of brake shoes are correctly established on basic plates of brake shoes and establish laying on a back part of brake shoes.
10. Establish brake shoes with laying in a support so that the overlay of each brake shoe was established opposite to a working surface of a brake disk.
11. Establish the new spring which is drawing in brake shoes.
12. Insert pins of fastening of brake shoes, thus they should pass over a spring which is drawing in brake shoes, and then press them completely in a support.
13. Check placement an electricity cable ки and then insert electric sockets of sensors of wear of brake shoes into a support.
14. Several times press a brake pedal that brake shoes nestled on a support. Check level of brake liquid in a popolnitelny tank.
15. Repeat the actions set forth above on the second wheel.
16. Establish wheels and lower the car.
17. Check level of brake liquid.
