PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
2. Unscrew screws and remove a casing from the basis of the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket (see fig. Arrangement of screws of fastening of a protective casing of the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket, Removal of a protective casing from the basis of the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket).
3. A jack through wooden whetstone support the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket.
4. For access to the top fastening of the back shock-absorber remove lateral furnish of a luggage compartment (see fig. Fastening of the back shock-absorber) is more true.
5. Holding a wrench from a provorachivaniye a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber, the second wrench unscrew a lock-nut. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber, thus hold a rod from a provorachivaniye. Remove a washer and a rubber pillow.
6. Working under the car, unscrew a nut from the bottom bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber and take a bolt and washers (see fig. Nut unscrewing from a bolt of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber).
7. Being careful, slightly release the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket, then take the shock-absorber from under an arch of a back wheel. Remove from the top part of the shock-absorber a rubber pillow. On models since December, 1986 remove the laying established on the top rubber pillow, then remove from a shock-absorber rod a dustproof cover and the rubber buffer (see fig. Elements of the top fastening of the back shock-absorber on early models, Elements of the top fastening of the back shock-absorber on later models).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the shock-absorber on signs of leakages of amortization liquid. Check on all length a shock-absorber rod on absence of dot corrosion. Check the shock-absorber case on absence of mechanical damages. Establish the shock-absorber in vertical situation and check its work, moving a shock-absorber rod at full capacity. Also check operation of the shock-absorber, moving a shock-absorber rod up and down on distance of 50-100 mm. In all cases the rod of the shock-absorber should move smoothly with notable resistance. If the rod of the shock-absorber moves with breakthroughs or there are mechanical damages, the shock-absorber is subject to replacement.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On later models establish on a shock-absorber rod the buffer, a dustproof cover and laying.
2. On all models establish on a shock-absorber rod the bottom rubber pillow and establish the shock-absorber in the car.
3. Combine fixing openings in the lower part of the shock-absorber and the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket, insert into an opening a bolt and screw on a bolt a new nut, without tightening it it is final.
4. A jack lift the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket, thus a rod the shock-absorber should pass through an opening in a body.
5. In a luggage compartment establish on a shock-absorber rod a rubber pillow and a washer and screw on a shock-absorber rod a fixing nut. Check correctness of an arrangement of a rubber pillow, then tighten a fixing nut the demanded moment. Thus hold from a provorachivaniye a shock-absorber rod. Holding a fixing nut a wrench, screw a lock-nut and tighten it the demanded moment.
6. Establish into place furnish of a luggage compartment.
7. Establish a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
8. Shake the car in order that the shock-absorber was correctly established on the place. Tighten a nut of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber the demanded moment. Establish a protective casing on the basis of the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket and screw screws.
