23.13. Spring of a back suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At removal of a spring of a back suspension bracket it is necessary to use the special tool for compression of a spring and its deduction in this condition at spring removal.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
2. Using the special adaptation, compress a spring so that it departed from the top part. When using the special adaptation for compression of springs watch, that rounds of a spring were reliably grasped, and compression of a spring make from the opposite sides. The spring has very big effort of compression therefore use only very reliable tool. At all do not connect a spring a wire.
3. Unscrew screws and remove a protective casing from the basis of the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket. A jack through wooden whetstone support the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket.
4. Unscrew a nut and take the sharnirny bolt, the fixing bottom lever of a back suspension bracket to a back bottom frame. Also unscrew a nut and take a bolt, fixing an earring of the stabilizer of cross-section stability to the bottom lever.
5. Being careful, lower the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket so that it was possible to take a spring with the top plate.
6. Check a condition of a cylindrical spring and the top basic cup on signs of wear, damages or corrosion and, if necessary, replace them.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check and, if necessary, clear the bottom basic cup of a spring, then establish a spring with the top cup into place.
2. Turn a cylindrical spring so that its bottom end correctly settled down in the bottom nest of a spring. Establish the top basic cup of a spring under fastening and, being careful, lift the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket.
3. Check correctness of an arrangement of a spring, then insert a sharnirny bolt of fastening of the bottom lever. Screw on a sharnirny bolt a new nut, but do not tighten it finally. Establish a bolt of fastening of an earring of the stabilizer, screw on it a new nut and tighten it the demanded moment.
4. Take a jack from under the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket, then remove the adaptation for spring compression.
5. Establish a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
6. Shake the car in order that the spring and the bottom lever rose on the places, then tighten a nut of a sharnirny bolt the demanded moment. Establish on the basis of the bottom lever a protective casing and fix screws.
