23.15. Bottom lever of a back suspension bracket

Removal

Unscrewing of the nut, fixing an earring of the stabilizer of cross-section stability to the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
2. Unscrew screws and remove a protective casing from the basis of the bottom lever.
3. Using the special adaptation, compress a spring so that it departed from the top part. When using the special adaptation for compression of springs watch, that rounds of a spring were reliably grasped and compression of a spring make from the opposite sides. The spring has very big effort of compression therefore use only very reliable tool. At all do not connect a spring a wire.
4. Unscrew a nut and take a bolt, fixing an earring of the stabilizer of cross-section stability to the bottom lever (see drawing).
5. A jack through wooden whetstone support the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket.
6. Unscrew a nut and take a bolt of fastening of the lower part of the shock-absorber.
7. Unscrew a nut and take an external sharnirny bolt of fastening of the bottom lever. Being careful, lower the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket and remove a cylindrical spring with the top basic cup.
8. Unscrew a nut, then take an internal sharnirny bolt of fastening of the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket and remove the lever.

Repair

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket of dirt and an anticorrosive covering and check it on existence of cracks or mechanical damages. Special attention turn on plugs of fastening of the lever. If it is necessary to make replacement of plugs, this work is necessary for carrying out at service station as application of a hydraulic press and the corresponding opravka for this purpose is required.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket into place, insert an internal sharnirny bolt and a washer and screw a new nut, without tightening it it is final.
2. Check that the bottom basic cup of a spring pure, then establish on a spring the top basic cup and establish a spring into place.
3. Turn a cylindrical spring so that its bottom end correctly settled down in the bottom nest of a spring. Establish the top basic cup of a spring under fastening and, being careful, lift the bottom lever of a back suspension bracket so that it was combined with a fixing element of a nave, an earring of the stabilizer of cross-section stability and the shock-absorber.
4. Check correctness of placement of a spring, then insert an external sharnirny bolt of fastening of the bottom lever, screw on it a new nut, but do not tighten finally.
5. Combine the bottom end of the shock-absorber with the lever, insert a bolt of fastening and screw on it a new nut, without tightening it it is final.
6. Insert a bolt of fastening of an earring of the stabilizer of cross-section stability, then screw on a bolt a new nut, without tightening it it is final.
7. Establish a back wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
8. Shake the car in order that all elements of a back suspension bracket rose on the places. Tighten all nuts on bolts the demanded moment. Establish on the basis of the bottom lever a protective casing and screw it screws.
