23.19.4. Control unit

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation of the control unit it is necessary to use the new nut, fixing connecting bent for to the control unit lever.


Removal

Arrangement on the control unit of the union of pumping (1), the lever of connecting draft (2) and connections of pipelines (3)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove pressure in hydraulic system.
2. Clear area about a place of connection of tubes to the control unit. Mark tubes in order that them not to mix at installation (see drawing).
3. Unscrew connecting nuts and remove hydraulic tubes from the control unit. Close opening jams in the control unit and the ends of tubes.
4. Unscrew a nut and remove connecting draft from the control unit lever.
5. Unscrew fastening bolts, remove the control unit and take it from under the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the control unit on a place and fix bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
2. Connect tubes to the control unit and fix them connecting nuts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
3. Lift liquid level in the accumulator of pressure of a control system of a being self-leveled back suspension bracket to the maximum mark.
4. Unscrew a nut, fixing connecting bent for to the control unit lever. Remove draft from the lever and move the lever up against the stop.
5. Start the engine, then increase engine turns to 2 000 – 3 000 rpm and let's to it work on these turns during 30 seconds, then switch off the engine.
6. Connect connecting draft to the control unit lever, having established it in an external opening of the lever, then screw a new nut of fastening and tighten it the demanded moment.
7. Check liquid level in the accumulator of pressure of system of a being self-leveled back suspension bracket.
