23.5. Rotary fist

Removal

Unscrewing of a nut of fastening of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Tighten the parking brake, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
2. If it is necessary to make replacement of a rotary fist, remove a nave.
3. If replacement of a rotary fist is not provided, unscrew two bolts, fixing the holder of a support to a rotary fist and remove a support from a brake disk. Using a soft wire, tie up a support to a cylindrical spring of a forward suspension bracket. Thus do not overwind and do not stretch a brake hose. At installation of the holder of a support on a rotary fist it is necessary to use new bolts. On models with anti-blocking system remove the ABS sensor from a rotary fist.
4. Unscrew a nut, fixing the spherical hinge of a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist, squeeze out a pin of the spherical hinge from a rotary fist (see drawing).
5. On models with automatic blocking of differential (ASD) at removal of the right rotary fist unscrew bolts and remove the sensor of acceleration of a wheel.
6. A jack through wooden whetstone support the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket at removal of a rotary fist.
7. Unscrew and remove two bolts, fixing the lower part of the shock-absorber to a rotary fist.
8. Unscrew a nut and take the top bolt of fastening of the lower part of the shock-absorber to a rotary fist.
9. Separate a rotary fist from the shock-absorber, then unscrew a nut and take tightening a bolt of fastening of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever.
10. Remove a rotary fist from a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket and take it from the car. Check a condition of the spherical hinge and, if necessary, replace it. It should be noted that the lever of a steering can separately be replaced. Thus it is necessary to use new bolts of fastening of the lever.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using the corresponding tap, clear all carving openings in a rotary fist.
2. Establish a rotary fist on a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket. Insert tightening a bolt of the spherical hinge, screw on it a new nut and tighten it the demanded moment. To prevent corrosion, fill with hermetic a groove for fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket.
3. Combine a rotary fist with the shock-absorber, thus the ledge on a rotary fist should enter into an opening.
4. Insert the top bolt of fastening of a rotary fist to the shock-absorber and screw on a bolt a new nut. Partially screw in two new bolts of fastening of the lower part of the shock-absorber to a rotary fist. Press a rotary fist before combination it with the shock-absorber and in this situation screw up a nut of the top bolt, and then both bottom bolts and tighten them the demanded moment.
5. Remove a jack supporting the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket, then connect to a rotary fist the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft. Screw on the spherical hinge a new nut and tighten it the demanded moment.
6. Establish a nave.
7. Establish a support over a brake disk on a rotary fist and fix it new bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
8. On models with automatic blocking of differential (ASD) at installation of the right rotary fist establish the sensor of acceleration of a wheel and fix a bolt.
9. Establish a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
