Camshaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check working surfaces of bearings of a camshaft and contours of cams of a camshaft on wear. In the presence of any wear replace a camshaft. At replacement of a camshaft it is also necessary to replace yokes.

Extraction of an axis of a yoke with use of long bolt М8

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. After removal of covers of bearings of a camshaft, from covers of bearings it is possible to remove yokes, taking short axes of yokes from covers. Before removal of yokes check that on them there is a marking, and also note an arrangement of yokes concerning a cover of the bearing of a camshaft.
2. For extraction of an axis of a yoke from a cover of the bearing of a camshaft it is necessary to use an inertial hammer with a special adapter. Alternatively screw in long bolt М8 with a washer in an axis of a yoke and, striking on a washer with a hammer, extend a yoke axis from a cover of the bearing of a camshaft (see fig. Extraction of an axis of a yoke with use of long bolt М8). After extraction of an axis remove a yoke. Store the removed details so that in the subsequent it was possible to establish them on the places.
3. Check a condition of contact washers on wear. In the presence of wear it is necessary to replace a detail in a set.
4. Grease working surfaces of a yoke with pure engine oil, then establish yokes on a cover and fix an axis. At repeated installation of details check, that they became on the places. Axes of yokes establish so that dredging for a bolt of fastening of a cover of the bearing of a camshaft in each axis was combined with an opening under a bolt in a bearing cover. In the absence of special tools for a press fitting of an axis of yokes press an axis with use of long bolt М8 and a hammer.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For pusher extraction from a yoke insert the corresponding drift through an opening in the top part of a yoke and squeeze out a pusher from a yoke.
2. Take a prokladochny washer from a nest for a pusher in a yoke (see fig. Yoke details, the Arrangement of a hydraulic pusher in a yoke).
3. Have yoke details so that in the subsequent it was possible to establish them on the places.
4. Check a condition of pushers and, if necessary, replace them.
5. Hydraulic pushers of valves are designed in such a manner that the size of a course of a pusher for compensation of a gap of valves is insignificant. It is connected with the insignificant sizes of hydraulic pushers of valves. In order that a course of a hydraulic pusher sufficed for compensation of gaps of valves, prokladochny washers of various thickness are used.
6. If at operation of the engine knock of valves, probably is audible, the size of a klapanny gap does not correspond technical requirements. In this case it is necessary to establish a new prokladochny washer of other thickness.
7. For determination of the demanded thickness of a prokladochny washer it is necessary use of the special tool and this work it is necessary to make at service station.
8. Before installation of hydraulic pushers it is necessary to fill them with engine oil. For this purpose establish pushers vertically in the capacity filled with pure engine oil. A thin steel wire press the ball valve and, moving a plunzher of a pusher up, enter into a working cavity of a pusher oil.
9. Repeat this operation until the working chamber of a hydraulic pusher will not be filled completely with oil (see fig. Use of a thin steel wire for pressing of the ball valve of a hydraulic pusher).
10. Establish a prokladochny washer in a pusher nest in a yoke, and the oil channel of a washer should be directed to a hydraulic pusher. Establish a hydraulic pusher in a yoke.
