3.15. Oil pump

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation of the oil pump it is necessary to use new laying of a maslopriyemny pipe and a new sealing ring of round section for a tube of supply of oil.

The oil pump is put in action via the driving coupling from the forward end of a cranked shaft and is located in a cover of a driving chain.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover a driving chain.
2. Unscrew two bolts and remove a maslopriyemny pipe and laying (see fig. Removal of a maslopriyemny pipe).
3. Unscrew bolts and uncover the oil pump (see fig. Removal of a cover of the oil pump).
4. Take external and internal rotors of the oil pump, noting their relative positioning (see fig. Extraction of an internal rotor of the oil pump, Extraction of an external rotor of the oil pump).
5. Sideways covers of a driving chain unscrew a stopper of a safety valve of pressure of oil and take laying, a spring and a plunzher (see fig. Unscrewing of a stopper of a safety valve of pressure, Extraction of a spring of a safety valve of pressure, Extraction of a plunzher of a safety valve of pressure).
6. Carefully clear all details of the oil pump and check their condition. If there is a wear of rotors, it is necessary to replace them in a set. In the presence of wear of the case of the oil pump or a cover it is necessary to replace a cover of a driving chain. The new cover of a driving chain is delivered together with the oil pump.
7. Remove a sealing ring of round section from a pipe of supply of oil in a back part of the pump (see fig. Removal of a sealing ring of round section from a pipe of supply of oil).

Installation

Space filling between teeths of rotors of the oil pump pure engine oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish external and internal rotors in the case of the oil pump according to earlier made labels. Fill space between teeths of an external and internal rotor of the oil pump pure engine oil (see fig. Space filling between teeths of rotors of the oil pump pure engine oil).
2. Establish a cover of the oil pump and screw bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
3. Establish new laying of a maslopriyemny pipe, and the rounded-off edge of laying should be directed to the top part of a cover of a driving chain.
4. Establish a maslopriyemny pipe and fix two bolts.
5. Establish a new sealing ring of round section on a pipe of supply of oil in a back part of the oil pump.
6. With a thin layer of engine oil grease a plunzher of a safety valve of pressure of oil and consistently establish a plunzher, a spring, a sealing ring and screw up a stopper, having tightened it the demanded moment.
7. Establish a cover of a driving chain.
