3.19. Check and replacement of a support of the power unit

Check

Arrangement of forward support of fastening of the power unit
The power unit leans on three support. Two support from two parties of the engine and one support on a back part of a transmission.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Check a condition of rubber elements of a suspension bracket on existence of cracks, aging and stratification.
3. Check reliability of fastening of suspension brackets of the power unit.
4. Moving the engine here and there, check люфт in suspension brackets of the power unit. Люфт should be insignificant even at new elements of a suspension bracket.

Replacement

FORWARD SUPPORT

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Hook on the power unit slings of the load-lifting mechanism and raise so that the weight of the power unit was perceived by the load-lifting mechanism.
2. Unscrew the bolts, support of the power unit fixing an arm to the engine.
3. Unscrew the bolts, support fixing a rubber element to a beam and remove support of the power unit.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

BACK SUPPORT OF THE POWER UNIT

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Establish under a transmission a jack and through wooden whetstone support a transmission.
3. Unscrew bolts and remove a back support of the power unit.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
