5.5. Top dead point (VMT) of the piston of the first cylinder

GENERAL INFORMATION

Drill use in diameter of 4 mm for check of correctness of installation of a camshaft

The top dead point of the piston is a point through which passes each piston at a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft. Each piston reaches situation VMT at the end of a compression step, then again at the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of installation of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye of the engine VMT of the piston of the first cylinder is used.

And – placement of the bent cores (1) in adjusting openings;
In – the label on a pulley of a cranked shaft is combined with a lateral side of an arm, the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft

Removal of a hose of ventilation of a case from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders on models with system of injection of CIS fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Note position of the plug of a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder on a distributor cover.
2. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
3. For a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft turn a cranked shaft of the engine clockwise, the following labels will not be combined with indexes (see fig. yet. An arrangement of adjusting labels on the engine at installation of the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point, Removal of a hose of ventilation of a case from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders on models with system of injection of CIS fuel):
a–the label on a pulley of a camshaft should be combined with a lateral side of an arm for the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft;
b–adjusting openings in forward flanges of camshafts should settle down outside and at level of the top plane of a head of the block of cylinders;
c–the rotor of the distributor of ignition should be combined with the plug of a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder.
4. After combination of all labels the piston of the first cylinder is in the top dead point in a compression step.
