6.10.2. Asterisks

CAMSHAFT ASTERISK

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an auxiliary driving belt.
2. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
3. Unscrew the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain.
4. At existence remove from a head of the block of cylinders the pump of system of a being self-leveled back suspension bracket. Remove a sealing ring, a prokladochny plate, unscrew a bolt and remove the plug of a drive of the pump from a camshaft.
5. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point and check that adjusting labels of cranked and distributive shaft are combined with indexes. Using paint, put combination labels on an asterisk of a camshaft and a link of a driving chain.
6. Unscrew a bolt and remove an asterisk from a camshaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of teeths on an asterisk. Teeths on an asterisk have a symmetric form and in case of development on the one hand teeths it is necessary to replace an asterisk.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that adjusting labels of distributive and cranked shaft are combined with the index. At installation of a new asterisk of a camshaft put on it a combination label, as on an old asterisk.
2. Combining labels, establish a chain on an asterisk.
3. Establish an asterisk on a camshaft. Thus the adjusting pin on a flange of a camshaft should enter into an opening in an asterisk. Screw in a bolt and tighten it the demanded moment.
4. At existence establish the plug of a drive of the hydraulic pump of system of a being self-leveled back suspension bracket on a camshaft and fix a bolt, having tightened it the demanded moment. Establish a prokladochny plate, a sealing ring and the hydraulic pump of system of a being self-leveled back suspension bracket.
5. Screw in the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain.
6. For a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft turn a cranked shaft on one turn and check that labels of cranked and distributive shaft are combined with indexes.
7. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
8. Establish an auxiliary driving belt.

ASTERISK OF THE CRANKED SHAFT


Prevention

For removal of an asterisk from a cranked shaft stripper use is necessary.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover a driving chain.
2. Remove the oil pallet.
3. Remove a camshaft asterisk.
4. Remove from a sharnirny finger a boot of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain, the oil pump and a spring.
5. Unscrew a bolt and remove an asterisk together with a chain from a shaft of the oil pump.
6. Using paint, put combination labels on an asterisk of a cranked shaft and a link of a driving chain.
7. Using a stripper, remove from a cranked shaft an asterisk and a segment shponka.
8. Remove a segment shponka from a groove of a cranked shaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of teeths on an asterisk. Teeths on an asterisk have a symmetric form and in case of development on the one hand teeths it is necessary to replace an asterisk.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish in a groove of a cranked shaft a segment shponka.
2. At installation of a new asterisk of a cranked shaft put on it a combination label on the same place, as on an old asterisk.
3. Combining adjusting labels, establish a driving chain at first on an asterisk of a cranked shaft, and then on a camshaft asterisk.
4. Establish an asterisk of the oil pump together with a chain and fix a bolt, having tightened it the demanded moment.
5. Establish on a sharnirny finger the plug, a spring and a boot of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain of the oil pump.
6. Establish the oil pallet.
7. Establish a cover of a driving chain.
