7.20. Installation of a cranked shaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

Tightening of a bolt of fastening of a cover of the radical bearing the demanded moment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take a cranked shaft from the block of cylinders.
2. At existence check that sprays of oil are established in the block of cylinders.
3. Clear a back part of the loose leaf and a place of its installation in the block of cylinders and covers of radical bearings. Establish loose leaves on the places.
4. Establish the top persistent half rings for adjustment axial люфта a cranked shaft as follows:
– on 4-cylinder engines on the central radical bearing No. 3;
– on 5-cylinder engines on the radical bearing No. 4;
– on 6-cylinder engines on the radical bearing No. 5.
5. Grease a working surface of loose leaves with pure engine oil and establish a cranked shaft in the block of cylinders of the engine.
6. Grease the bottom loose leaves in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and check that ledges on loose leaves are in cover grooves.
7. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings on the places. Check that persistent half rings are on the corresponding cover of the radical bearing.
8. Grease bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of a cranked shaft with pure engine oil, insert them into covers and tighten by hand. On 6-cylinder DOHC engines bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings without carving openings under a bolt of a masloulavlivatel in a head are established from a driving chain. Before installation of bolts establish an arm of fastening of a maslozaborny tube.
9. Gradually and in diagonal sequence from the center to edge tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings in some stages (see fig. 10. Check that the cranked shaft rotates smoothly and without jammings.
11. Establish a new sealing ring in a back cover of a cranked shaft, then establish a cover with new laying or on a thin layer of hermetic on the block of cylinders (see fig. 12. Establish pistons with rods.
13. Further assembly is made in sequence, return dismantling taking into account the next moments.
14. On 4-cylinder engines establish an asterisk of a cranked shaft, a driving chain, a cover of a driving chain, the oil pallet and a drive flywheel / plate.
15. On 6-cylinder petrol SOHC engines establish an asterisk of a cranked shaft, a driving chain, the bottom cover of a driving chain, the oil pump, the oil pallet and a drive flywheel / plate.
16. On 6-cylinder petrol DOHC engines establish an asterisk of a cranked shaft, a driving chain, the bottom cover of a driving chain, the oil pump, a masloulavlivayushchy plate, the oil pallet and a drive flywheel / plate.
17. On diesel engines establish an asterisk of a cranked shaft, a driving chain, a cover of a driving chain, the oil pump, a masloulavlivayushchy plate, the oil pallet and a drive flywheel / plate.
