Removal

Fastening of a returnable pipe of a heater to the water pump

Removal of a sealing ring of round section from a returnable pipe of a heater

Removal from the water pump of the top hose of a radiator

Fastening of a hose of cooling liquid of a head of the block of cylinders to the water pump

Removal of the water pump from the 6-cylinder petrol engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and merge cooling liquid from cooling system.
2. Remove an auxiliary driving belt and the mechanism of a tension of a belt.
3. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the pump of the amplifier of a steering and move the pump aside, without disconnecting from it hoses.
4. Remove the air filter and an air inlet.
5. Remove the distributor and a casing of an auxiliary driving belt.
6. On early models unscrew six bolts of fastening of the compressor of central air of air and move the compressor aside, without disconnecting from it hoses.
7. Unscrew a bolt and remove a returnable pipe of a heater from the water pump. Remove from a pipe a sealing ring of round section (see fig. Fastening of a returnable pipe of a heater to the water pump, Removal of a sealing ring of round section from a returnable pipe of a heater). Take a pipe from a fastening bracket on an arm of the fan of a radiator.
8. On models with an oil radiator unscrew the pipeline of supply of cooling liquid from the water pump and remove a sealing ring of round section. Unscrew the screw and remove an arm of a pipe of cooling liquid from a suspension bracket of an inlet collector.
9. Remove the thermostat.
10. Weaken collars and disconnect hoses of cooling liquid of a head of the block of cylinders and the top hose of a radiator from the water pump (see fig. Removal from the water pump of the top hose of a radiator, Fastening of a hose of cooling liquid of a head of the block of cylinders to the water pump).
11. Unscrew 4 bolts and remove the water pump from the engine (see fig. Removal of the water pump from the 6-cylinder petrol engine). Take two plugs and remove a sealing ring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Being careful, clear interfaced surfaces of the water pump and the block of cylinders of the remains of old laying.
2. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal taking into account the next moments.
3. For installation of some bolts of fastening of the water pump it is necessary to use a core and a magnet.
4. Tighten all bolts the demanded moment.
5. At installation of the water pump and a casing of the thermostat it is necessary to use new laying. At installation of a returnable hose of a heater it is necessary to establish a new sealing ring of round section on a hose.
6. Establish and adjust a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.
7. Fill in cooling liquid in cooling system.
