9.9.1. Replacement of elements of the carburetor

9.9.1.1. Air diaphragm of the piston

GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal of a cover of the shock-absorber of the carburetor together with a quencher of fluctuations of the piston

Removal of the shock-absorber from the carburetor case

Arrangement of the screw which the delay valve also fixes

Extraction of a returnable spring of the piston

Extraction in the form of the uniform block of the piston, a diaphragm and a jet needle

Arrangement of screws of fastening of a diaphragm of the piston

Ledge combination on an external edge of a diaphragm with dredging on the carburetor case

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew screws and uncover the carburetor shock-absorber together with a quencher of fluctuations of the piston (see fig. Removal of a cover of the shock-absorber of the carburetor together with a quencher of fluctuations of the piston). Remove from a cover a sealant ny laying.
2. Unscrew screws and remove the shock-absorber from the piston case. Thus keep in mind that one of these screws fixes the delay valve (see fig. Removal of the shock-absorber from the carburetor case, the Arrangement of the screw which the delay valve also fixes).
3. Take a returnable spring of the piston, then in the form of the uniform block take the piston, a diaphragm and a jet needle from the carburetor case (see fig. Extraction of a returnable spring of the piston, Extraction in the form of the uniform block of the piston, a diaphragm and a jet needle).
4. Check a condition of a diaphragm of the piston. If the diaphragm has defects in the form of cracks or through openings, operation of the carburetor will be broken. Replace a diaphragm for what, holding the piston, unscrew screws of fastening of a diaphragm, remove a washer and a diaphragm from the piston (see fig. Arrangement of screws of fastening of a diaphragm of the piston).
5. Establish on the piston a new diaphragm so that the ledge from a reverse side of a diaphragm was combined with dredging on a piston surface.
6. Establish on a diaphragm a washer and fix screws.
7. Establish the block of the piston, a diaphragm and a jet needle in the carburetor case so that the ledge on an external edge of a diaphragm was combined with dredging on the carburetor case (see fig. Ledge combination on an external edge of a diaphragm with dredging on the carburetor case). Check that the air opening on the basis of the piston is from the engine.
8. Establish a returnable spring of the piston, then the shock-absorber and fix screws, considering that one of screws fixes the delay valve.
Prevention

For an exception of shift of a diaphragm at installation do not rotate the shock-absorber. Establish a cover амортизато ра with a quencher of fluctuations of the piston with new laying and fix screws.


9. Unscrew a jellied stopper with амортизато ра and add in the shock-absorber demanded oil so that level of oil was below the basis of an opening of a jellied stopper. Screw in a jellied stopper into place.
